THE HERBARIUM OF DIGI-BOTANICA︎︎︎
This project presents a collection of 3D digital models with a botanical theme, stemming from the development of a generative system harnessing visual archival resources, specifically sourced from the Aalto University Archive.
It revolves around the narrative of cultivating a fictitious digital plant Digi-Botanica termed ‘Digi-Botanica.’ Comprising four distinct specimens, the collection encompasses a 1000 generative variations catalogued in a metaphorical herbarium.
The outcomes manifested in a range of deliverables that are meant to increase student engagement in Aalto University Archives. The project was part of my Masters Thesis at Aalto University.
